RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT

Bookings on these holidays must be made with a Cruiseco Travel Agent.

On confirmation of your booking a written confirmation will be sent to your travel agent.  An option will be given for seven days and your booking must be secured within seven days by the payment of a deposit or it will be released.

DEPOSITS & LATER PAYMENTS

You will appreciate that when securing services for a major international event such as Rugby World Cup 2011, it is necessary to pay large and early deposits on your behalf.  Because of this it is necessary to receive larger deposits than would normally required for a cruise of this type.

Deposits for these holidays will be as follows:

To secure booking                    Initial 20% of total holiday value or $1,000pp (whichever is greater)
By June 30, 2010                     Additional 20% of total holiday value (so that the total deposit paid is equal to
                                                40% of the total holiday value)
By November 30, 2010           Additional 20% of total holiday value (so that the total deposit paid is equal to
                                                60% of the total holiday value)
By June 10, 2011                     Balance of all monies due

If your booking is made after  June 30, 2010 all deposits due at the date of booking will be payable at that time (whether it be 40% or 60% of the total holiday value).  If your booking is made after June 10, 2011 full payment will be payable at the time of booking.

FARES

Fares quoted in this brochure are quoted in Australian Dollars and are based on sharing a twin cabin unless stated otherwise.  All fares are subject to change with or without notice.

  • Air tickets to/from Auckland or Sydney to join or leave Rhapsody of the seas
  • Land transportation to join/leave Rhapsody of the Seas in Auckland or Sydney
  • Passport or visa fees
  • Insurances of all kinds
  • Laundry
  • Phone calls
  • Beverages (except if noted as being included)
  • Additional accommodation made necessary by flight schedules
  • Items of a personal nature
  • Any item not specifically mentioned in the brochure as being included

MATCH TICKETS

Match tickets are included in your holiday cost as indicated in the itinerary. This is based on category B tickets being provided.  If, for any reason Category B tickets are not provided, then an adjustment will be made to the fares accordingly.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION

Travel documents will be sent to you approximately 14 days before departure (providing full payment has been received).  If you are departing from Australia earlier than this please let your Cruiseco Travel Agent know.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Due to the high deposits and heavy cancellation fees the closer you get to departure, we strongly recommend that you ask your travel agent regarding travel insurance at the time of booking.

BOOKING CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

In the unfortunate event that you should have to change or cancel your booking we must be notified in writing.  The day that we receive this notice will be considered the date your cancellation or change has been made.

Certain cancellation or amendment fees will apply to your booking once made

BOOKING CHANGES

A fee of $25 per person will be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed unless the change increases the value of the booking.

CANCELLATIONS AND CANCELLATION FEES

Notice of cancellation must be made in writing to your Cruiseco travel agent.  The following scale of charges (includes GST) will apply when notice of cancellation is received.

Cancellation prior to 30 June 2010                   $1,000.00 per person
Cancellation 01 July - 30 Nov 2010                 20% of total costs or $1,000.00 per person (whichever is greater)
Cancellation 01 Dec 2010 - 31 Mar 2011        40% of total costs
Cancellation 01 Apr 2011 - 09 Jun 2011         60% of total costs
Cancellation 10 Jun 2011 - 31 Jul 2011           80% of total costs
After 01 August 2011 or 'no show'                  100% of total costs

OTHER CONDITIONS

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have read all the booking conditions and to provide valid travel documents.  Be sure to ask your Travel agent for advice regarding Travel Documents. Passports and visa.

CRUISECO'S STATEMENT OF BUSINESS PRACTICE

Your Cruiseco agent will provide you, on request, with a copy of Cruiseco's 'Statement of Business practice'.  This provides details of our pricing policy.

BOOKING ARRANGEMENTS

Your booking arrangements are to be made by your Travel Agent and the person effecting the booking shall be deemed to have accepted the booking conditions
